Gary recently left Mastercard after 8 years to return to his startup days. From 2010 until February 2019, Gary was Executive Vice President at Mastercard, where he had global responsibility for leading efforts to directly monetize its differentiated data assets and identify new revenue opportunities in emerging segments. Gary and his team established one of the highest growth business units at Mastercard leveraging data/analytics to address business challenges and opportunities across multiple client segments: financial institutions, businesses, governments, and investors.
Prior to joining MasterCard, Gary spent five years as President, Decision Analytics at Experian. In that capacity, he was responsible for leading B2B software, fraud prevention and predictive analytics businesses serving financial institutions, government agencies, asset managers, retailers, utilities and telecom companies across the Americas.
He is currently on the faculty at Queen’s University Smith School of Business, Canada in its Master of Management Analytics and Master of Management in Artificial Intelligence degree programs. Gary has also been a member of the Advisory Board of the Master of Management Analytics Program at Queen’s since its inception. In addition to his professional activities, Gary is a serious musician and plays keyboards and sings fora vintage 1970’s rock band based in St. Louis, MO.
